Understanding SharePoint sites

SharePoint provides the tools to become a powerful site provisioning engine allowing you to select and create different sites for your teams, projects, services and solutions. In this module you will learn about site creation, including determining the correct structure for your organisation, the varying types or site templates and where/when to use the different site templates available within SharePoint. Enterprise Content Management

Enterprise Content Management looks further into the content life cycle of site assets through enabling SharePoint tools to assist in organising and managing content from creation to archive. Initiating ECM across the organisation and applying a governance model will govern policies across all content assets to assist with managing metadata and content types at enterprise level. Topics include:
